About us
 Adventure Flight Training is a leading provider of Cirrus Standardized Training, Advanced Avionics Training and general flight training in Technically advanced aircraft.  We have conducted training all over the United States, Europe and Australia.  We are recognized as a Cirrus Platinum Training Partner.  This designation is held by fewer than 5% of all Cirrus Instructors worldwide.  Our home office is in the Metro Atlanta, Ga area and we base our aircraft at Gwinnett Airport (KLZU) in Lawrenceville, GA.

We offer a combined total flying time of over 10,000 accident free hours and over 8500 hours in Cirrus Aircraft.

 Trip Taylor started flying lessons at age 14, passed the written for the PPL at 15 and took the practical test for the Private Certificate shortly after his 17th birthday.  After a career in flooring business, Trip rekindled his love of flying and purchased a 2001 Cirrus SR22.  A few years later, Trip earned a Commercial and both Flight Instructor certificates (Airplane and Instrument).  Trip flew as a line pilot and FAA Company check airman in the SR22 for a large Part 135 operator in South Carolina.  Trip began an Association with Avidyne corporation in 2009; providing pilot services.  Later, as a full time employee of Avidyne, Trip worked in the Release 9 sales effort and created a national flight safety team of exceptional Instructors that provided pilot services, advisory consultation and created Release 9 training material that conforms to the FAA's FITS criteria.  

Trip has over 7500 hours and approximately 7000 hours in Cirrus aircraft.  Trip has many clients that have recieved ratings and certificates in Cirrus aircraft.  

Trip resides in the Metro Atlanta area and flies a 2005 Cirrus SR22 which has the Release 9 avionics package installed.

Sherri Platt
 Sherri has been flying 10 years and has over 1000 hours in Cirrus Aircraft. She is qualified in all the Cirrus platforms and has owned a Six-Pack Cirrus and both versions of Avidyne's Entegra line.  She holds a Commercial Certificate and performs many services for Adventure flight; including Ferry service, aircraft delivery and acceptance flights.  

Sherri is the Co-Chair of the Cirrus Owner's and Pilots Association's award winning, industry leading Cirrus Pilot Proficeny program (CPPP).  Sherri teaches the Partner in Command course at CPPP events.
